I want to write.
For the past couple weeks, I haven't been writing much--unless a boring Dust Bowl research paper/newspaper article and schoolwork counts. I did write about half of my Hannah Montana fanfic (don't ask, my family is obsessed with Disney shows and I watch them more often than I know what to do with) but, considering it's not the pairing I like and I've been busier than usual lately, I haven't really wanted to start work on the next chapter, even though I should.
I have, however, been toying with the idea of writing a Tribulation story--sort of like in the vein of the Left Behind series, but with my own sort of spin on it. It might not be very good, but I've been very interested in the Rapture, particularly those people left behind, and I might try my hand at it. It might not be a novel--considering I already have two in the works, one that I need to start expanding on as soon as I get the first "short" draft back--but it's going to be at least a one-shot/vignette sort of thing. It might just touch on the disappearances themselves, from a Christian and nonChristian point of view, and if I decide to expand on it later, I'll do so.
If I ever get around to writing it, though, I'll be sure to post a link here. Even though some people who read this might not want to read it, because it will be quite Christian-oriented, and I would prefer it muchly if non-Christians wouldn't... well, bash isn't the right word, but if they would simply look at the writing quality instead of the views of the writer. Even though I would muchly enjoy it if someone got that message and wanted to take it up with me, because I'm more than willing to take with anyone, so long as it doesn't dissolve into a debate. I enjoy explaining my beliefs to people, but not in a debate, if that makes any sense.
But anyway.
I currently have two--three, like I said--novels in the works: Yulian, the first novel idea that I actually came up with, which I enjoy a lot, As One Love, my NaNo from this past year that I've been working on in pieces over the past months, even though it's sort of on hold, and Title Withheld, a short story I wrote for English class that is set in the land of Yulian that I will most likely end up expanding.
So, the question is: Which one should I start once more?
Yulian is the one I should probably work on, because it's the first novel I want to get published, but As One Love is the longest. I can't yet start Title Withheld until I get the first compressed version back, which should hopefully be soon.
Of course, I can always start something else, like the Rapture story, or a fanfic, or an original story... but I don't know what.
Any suggestions?
