Yesterday, my laptop finally arrived, and I'm actually pleasantly surprised at the quality. Sure, my dad might've gotten it on eBay, but it looks and feels brand new. 'Course, my dad said that it only feels that way because it was refurbished and everything before they shipped it off to me, but regardless, I love it. Already, within less than twenty-four hours of getting it, I'm already starting work on my Camp Rock fic again. It seems my writer's block is pretty much completely gone.
I have a very good feeling about this laptop.
*pets it*
As long as this keeps up, and I can get a lot of writing done, I have a feeling that this laptop will be very nice for me. I can't wait until NaNoWriMo now—I'll probably be able to get a lot more writing done, now that I'll have more time to actually spend writing.
Of course, that's assuming my sister doesn't get after me for "not getting out much" and "being a recluse," like she did a few days ago.
If she gets after me, though, I'll just say that I'm going to be getting out more. I'll have to, considering my best friend is going off to another school (*tear*) and apparently my sister is trying to set me up with someone, but as long as I have enough time to write, I'll be fine. *nods convincingly*
